    Meadows Maintenance Complex Facility Expansion

    Meadows Maintenance Complex Facility

    Provided civil engineering designs for the expansion of the Meadows Maintenance Complex (MMC). The expansion includes the construction of a new Train Washer and Support Building, the expansion of the Service and Inspection Building, the Car Hoist Building, the addition of a wheel boring, parts cleaner, wheel press, and hot lube oil tank, and the construction of a new Layover Yard and related components. Work included design and all site utilities, domestic and fire water, industrial, gas, sanitary and storm sewer, electrical, and communications. Design also included interior roadways, service aisles and walkways, soil erosion control, and storm water management.

    Harmon Shop Replacement

    Provide pre-liminary concept design for a design build contract for the Phase II & III upgrade that includes new MOW Bldg., Material Recycling facility, new Coach Shop and Locomotive Shop, and Support Shop. SC is responsible for the oil-water treatment system for the site storm water, storm water pumping system that includes, bar screens, wet well level controls, and storm water emergency bypass.

    Field Investigations, Schematic Design, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration to improve the aesthetic and functional qualities of Uris Plaza.  The renovation included the restoration and upgrade of existing paths and planted areas to provide ample and varied seating, and strengthen the character of this important gathering space.

    Provided site water distribution, sanitary, electrical and storm water management systems for a new school.  The site drainage included two retention basins each equipped with a set of duplex submersible pumps (2.8 mgd flow rate).

    Performed a campus wide survey and assessment of the Utilities and Infrastructure, Buildings and Campus Grounds including paving and landscaping, site structures, storm drainage, irrigation systems, and fencing, and database the capital renewal, annual renewal and maintenance costs.

    Construct a 400-Meter Outdoor Track and Multi-Activity Field

    Construct a six-lane 400-meter outdoor track and a multi activity field to emphasize physical fitness, recreation, competition and health awareness.  The Multi-Activity field shall include a football/soccer field, pole vault area, long jump area, high jump area, and javelin, shot put and disc throw areas.  Work also includes provisions for the construction of a pre-engineered storage building.

    Storm Water Management Systems Stewart International Airport

    Provided professional engineering services for the field investigation, document collection to develop a site plan and identify potential storm water pollution sources in the airport.  Existing deicing operation was reviewed and potential sites of deicing facility were identified.
