Staunton Chow has been the Lead Aviation Fueling Systems Consultant for The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for over ten years. Since 1992, Staunton Chow has been virtually an extension of the Authority’s Aviation Mechanical Engineering Department and produced many, many projects under “On-Call” type contracts with the Authority.

This fueling system received an award from the American Petroleum Institute and the Air National Guard. It ranked the best amongst 93 Air National Guard Flying Unit Installations in all U.S. Territories.

Designed one of the largest municipal fleet fueling
facilities in New York City. This fueling facility,
has all fuel dispensers located on a
Pier and all underground fuel storage tanks located
inland and serves all city vehicles of various City
Departments, large and small capable of dispensing
gasoline, diesel and alternative fuels
(Compressed Natural Gas and methanol)
to 38 vehicles simultaneously. An automated
fuel management system was also provided and
connected to the City Central at the Office of Fleet Administration.
