    Performed physical condition assessments of the North Hall and the Haaren Building of John Jay College. The building houses a spacious, library, performing arts theater, lecture halls & classrooms, NCAA regulation sized swimming pool and physical fitness facilities including two full size gymnasiums. Routine visits were conducted to determine the existing condition of major building systems, mechanical systems and electrical systems as well as any deficiencies and the probable sources of those deficiencies. An Egress/Life Safety Analysis Study was also performed to document existing conditions regarding egress/life safety issues.

    Modernize River Hall, 127 bedrooms, approximately 34,000 square feet in area. The design project was completed in two phases. One, a complete building systems and finishes evaluation and feasibility study to bring the building up to University residence hall standards. Two, to complete the design documents and construction phases.

    Constructed two (2) new 72-bed dormitory buildings, male and female at the Arecibo Job Corps Center. The new dormitories are approximately 13,800 square feet and conventionally constructed one-story structure. Work included demolition of existing dormitories and miscellaneous site improvements.

    Developed schemes and cost estimates to renovate and improve the security arrangement and visitor circulation at the Department of Veterans Affairs Lobby. The renovation improved the circulation for both handicapped and non-handicapped visitors. To compliment the security improvements the vestibule, interior finishes and lighting was also improved.

    Provided architectural and engineering services to fully renovate Building 13, Wards A & B. The floors had not undergone any significant renovation since the opening of this hospital in 1950. The use of this unit was an intermediate medical ward. However, this unit was not conducive to treatment of patients in a medical unit environment. Patient Privacy was of primary concern.

    Investigated the cause of the shingle roofing, roof sheathing and exterior wall system failures and water infiltration problems on this early 1980's condominium complex consisting of approximately 100 residential units within fifteen buildings.

    Exterior Wall Restoration and Window Replacement Systems

    Project consisted of a LL#10 inspection with subsequent exterior wall repairs and the removal and replacement of the entire building’s windows system to restore the building to its original nineteenth century condition. NYC Landmarks approval was required as this building is located within a landmark district.

    Addition to Vehicle Maintenance Facility McGuire Air Force Base

    Construction of an 8,600 sq. ft. addition to the vehicle maintenance facility and the addition of a 1,000 sq. ft. Administration/Dispatch Building. The vehicle maintenance facility will also be the core design element for future modification.
